USADSF sends open letter to ICSDby U.S. Deaflympics Media Team on February 14, 2011 The president of USA Deaf Sports Federation, Jack C. Lamberton, has sent an open letter to ICSD President Craig Crowley, CEO Tiffany Granfors, and the ICSD Board, sharing USADSF's response to the events in Slovakia. In this PDF letter you see attached here, you will see that USADSF has suffered tens of thousands of dollars in losses from the cancellation of the games and has demanded assistance from ICSD in recovering the costs from the Slovakia Organizing Committee. President Lamberton has also insisted ICSD take more responsibility for the cancellation. USADSF has also asked ICSD to work with member nations on this staggering loss and to set up procedures and policies to ensure such a situation will never happen again. |
